Redcliffe Hotel - Paignton

Although the decor was a little dated, it didn’t detract from our experience, and I appreciated the overall cleanliness. I can confidently say that my family and I would stay again without hesitation.

One minor drawback was the lack of modern amenities; the Wi-Fi connection was somewhat inconsistent.

Interesting hotel with attentive staff and I loved stunning location. It had good restaurant for dinner. Good service was provided. Actually everything was nice, my next choice again in Paignton.

The hotel had a central location and it was within walking distance of a sandy beach.

I recently stayed for a weekend getaway, and I must say, the views from the hotel were stunning! The historic charm of the building added to the experience, making every moment on the balcony special. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, and the room was spotless. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, providing a great start to the day. The well-maintained pool area was a lovely touch, too.

The breakfast spread was great, with every morsel fresh and divine! Plus, the bar's offerings were spot on for a cheeky pint after a day at the beach. A definite win for nosh!

A bit of faffing about with the menu limits and a dodgy shower pressure left us wanting more. Just a couple of tweaks and it'd be sorted!

Staying here offers fine sea views, especially from the upgraded rooms. The relaxing atmosphere on the terrace, enhances the experience.

I faced issues with room temperatures that were uncomfortably hot even with the windows wide open. The adjoining door, and the extractor fan in the bathroom was a nuisance-sounded like a jet engine and leaked after heavy rain. The limited pool hours meant I couldn't enjoy a swim . Opening at 8 am and closing before check-out seemed like a missed opportunity. Lastly, outdated facilities-like the bathroom fixtures and decor-gave the place a tired feel. A refurbishment wouldn't hurt.

I loved the cozy twin room with a good space with fine garden views. Every breakfast was a treat, with a delectable selection served fresh at our table. The private beach access was a dream come true. We spent lazy afternoons soaking up the sun on the terrace!

Can't recommend highly enough for a weekend jaunt

Beautiful room, amazing view. The spacious family room offered a amazing vista of the sea and a comfortable large bed that ensured a restful night's sleep, and the hotel's location provided easy beach access and proximity to local restaurants.

The room had a amazing sea view with French doors that opened to the terrace. Everything was super clean, from the comfortable bedding to the well-appointed bathroom. The breakfast was good, offering a wide variety with perfectly cooked poached eggs. The staff were attentive and friendly.

Absolutely loved the fine sea views and the charming indoor pool with a sauna. The terrace was perfect to unwind after a beach day. Felt right at home in our cozy room with a great atmosphere.

the hot tub was out of order

The view from the room was beautifull, especially the gardens. Breakfast was excelent with lots of choices. The pool area was nice. Very enjoyable time spent there!

only thing that was a bit of a downer was that the bed was a little hard n the shower could have been more powerful.
